The RBAC Users section allows permission-based management of the system. Users can have two types of permissions: API Permissions and Web GUI Permissions.

Users with API permissions and a defined API KEY can access the Load Balancer via API as group members. Similarly, users with Web GUI permissions can access the Web GUI using their username and password, or both permissions can be granted.

The image below shows a list of users with their properties, which are detailed below.

User Properties #

Name. Identifies the user and is used for Web GUI access.
Group. Specifies the group the user belongs to. A user can only belong to one group.
Service. Indicates if the user accesses locally or via Light Weight Access Protocol (LDAP).
GUI Permissions. Shows if the user can log in to the Web GUI:

  • Green. Access granted to RELIANOID Web GUI.
  • Red. Access denied to RELIANOID Web GUI.

API Permissions. Indicates if the user can access the Load Balancer via RELIANOID API.

  • Green. Access granted to use RELIANOID API.
  • Red. Access denied to use RELIANOID API.

User Actions #

Manage the user list with these actions:

  • Create User. Opens the user creation form.
  • Edit. Allows modification of user configuration values.
  • Delete. Removes all user configurations from the system.
