Parent Interface. Choose the parent interface for the VLAN, selecting either a NIC or a Bonding interface.
IP Address. Assign the network-layer IP address for the new VLAN. Supports both IPv4 and IPv6. This field is mandatory, and the Netmask field must also be configured if DHCP is disabled.
Netmask/CIDR. Define the subnet mask using either Network mask format or CIDR (0 to 32 bits for IPv4, 0 to 128 bits for IPv6). This field is mandatory, and the IP Address field must be set if DHCP is disabled.
Gateway. Optionally set a default gateway for this VLAN interface.
MAC. Specify the link-layer MAC address for the new VLAN. Generate a random valid MAC address by clicking generate random MAC or set a custom MAC address with caution to avoid duplication.
VLAN ID. Name the new VLAN interface created in the system. Starts with the Parent Interface followed by the VLAN tag separated by a dot. The Parent Interface name plus ‘.’ (dot) plus the VLAN name set must be lower than 16 as defined by the system.
DHCP. Enable the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) for the VLAN interface. Requires a DHCP server running on the configured VLAN tag, reachable and operational.

IPv4 and IPv6 stacks are supported, ensuring that Netmask and Gateway are configured in the same stack as the IP.

Once all necessary changes are made, click Apply to create the new VLAN interface. If needed, revert to the previous configuration by clicking Revert changes.
