This section details how to configure a Floating IP for a specified interface.

The load balancer routes outgoing traffic through an interface using its assigned interface IP. When a cluster is configured, each node temporarily possesses the assigned IP. However, the active node holds priority over others. In the event of node failure or maintenance, the IP seamlessly floats from one node to another to prevent any IP conflicts.

To configure Floating IPs, follow these global settings:

To apply the changes, click the Apply button. Once updated, the Floating IP will be ready for use in the cluster service, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted service delivery.
