Creating a customized blacklist allows you to configure a set of IP addresses and subnets specific to your infrastructure, using a Deny or Allow policy.

To create a new blacklist, navigate to the IPDS > Blacklists section and select the Create Blacklist option.

The required fields to create a new blacklist are:

relianoid load balancer v8 ipds create blacklist

Name. The descriptive name for the blacklist.
Type. Specifies whether the list is obtained from a Local or Remote location. If Remote, an URL is required to download the list.
Policy. Defines whether the list is for Deny (blacklists) or Allow (whitelists).
URL. This field appears only if the type selected is Remote and is used to set the URL of the remote blacklist for automatic download and updates.

Once you have filled in the required fields, click on the Create button to generate the new blacklist. Additional configuration fields will appear on the next screen based on the field type selected. Detailed instructions for these configurations can be found in the next section.

Next step, Configure your Blacklist.
