The aim of this guide is to provide a step by step procedure to upgrade from RELIANOID ADC Load Balancer Community Edition v5 to Enterprise Edition v6.2 maintaining all the configurations and with the minimum downtime.

Pre-requisites #

1. Have version 5.x Community Edition appliance already installed.
2. Update to the latest v5 version.
3. Before applying this upgrade, a full backup is recommended.
4. You need to acquire an Enterprise Edition Load Balancer license and download the files provided.

Upgrading Community to Enterprise #

1. Download the RAR file provided once the license is purchased and uncompress the file.
2. Please follow the instructions included in the PDF RELIANOID ADC Migration Guide included in the RAR file.
3. Finally, reboot the system and you’ve running a Enterprise Edition with all the features and configuration migrated.
