Release Notes
The update to Debian 12.6 includes the latest security patches and critical fixes, providing a solid and secure foundation for the load balancer. Users will also benefit from an upgraded GUI, featuring the latest Angular libraries and components, which enhance the user interface’s responsiveness and modernity. Additionally, translation improvements have been made to better support our international user base.
In this release, we’ve focused on refining the system’s core functionalities. The API has been refactored to eliminate source code duplication, resulting in a cleaner and more maintainable codebase. Services management has been switched to systemd, offering improved performance and reliability. Our commitment to quality is reflected in the application of advanced best QA practices, ensuring the overall stability and reliability of the system. Furthermore, the upgrade process from Community Edition version 7 to Enterprise Edition version 8 has been streamlined, making transitions smoother for users looking to upgrade.
Several important bug fixes have also been addressed in this release. Notably, an issue that prevented network statistics from being displayed correctly on the dashboard has been resolved. Additionally, a bug causing incorrect memory usage statistics to be shown has been fixed, ensuring accurate memory reporting. The Debian project is pleased to announce the sixth update of its stable distribution Debian 12, which mainly adds corrections for security issues and a few adjustments for serious problems. Security advisories have already been published separately and are referenced where available. We extend our gratitude to all our users and contributors for their continuous support and encourage everyone to upgrade to this latest version to enjoy enhanced performance and stability.
